About The Role AppLovin is seeking a highly quantitative Growth Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your curiosity, skills, and analytical mindset to uncover insights and opportunities that enhance our eCommerce product. This position requires close collaboration with various internal teams such as business development, engineering, and measurement partnerships, and it provides the opportunity to work directly with leadership to shape and implement our strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Apply curiosity and data‑driven problem solving to uncover insights and execute top growth opportunities for the company.
Help define and shape the company’s business intelligence products and tools, informed by industry standards and product knowledge.
Define and analyze key metrics to achieve success for our partners.
Monitor daily performance against these key metrics to identify opportunities and anomalies.
Become a mobile & e‑commerce advertising guru and expert on our suite of products.
Stay relevant on industry trends and work with the engineering team to develop and test innovative, high‑impact features.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Product, R&D, Engineering, Creative, and Marketing) to identify opportunities for new features, products, and partnerships.
Partner with the client teams to drive strategic initiatives and establish “learning agendas” that help clients improve business outcomes.
Translate complex research results into clear, actionable insights for a general audience.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, engineering, or computer science).
Proficiency in SQL, Python/Pandas, and Excel and comfortable working with large data sets.
Thorough understanding of data structures.
Significant experience in data analysis in an online environment, with direct exposure to scoping and executing analytical projects end‑to‑end.
Demonstrated ability to analyze data, uncover insights, and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Demonstrated experience applying statistical methodologies to real‑world problems.
A natural curiosity to explore the “why” behind the data and drive innovative solutions.
Strong prioritization skills to manage competing demands and deliver results.
Flexible team player who can use drive, creativity, and initiative to move the organization forward.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with and/or knowledge of Airflow, web development, HTTP requests.
Demonstrated ability to apply machine learning techniques to marketing measurement challenges.
Compensation Base Pay Range (California): $80 000 – $120 000 USD.
