About the role As a Staffing Consultant, you will find, interview, and qualify job seekers for temporary/contract roles with companies and organizations in your local market. This full‑cycle recruiting role involves sourcing to placement. You will engage with candidates via phone, email, or in person, coaching them through resume editing, interview preparation, and job offer acceptance. You will also collaborate with your team to discuss open positions, post job ads, and utilize online sourcing tools.
Your Day
Proactive cold‑calling to identify prospective candidates.
Search for candidates on job boards, LinkedIn, internet searches, referrals, and professional networking.
Interview prospective candidates.
Prep candidates for client interviews: review resumes, discuss client needs, conduct mock interviews.
Extend job offers and manage the offer process.
Check in with candidates on assignment to ensure they have everything they need.
You'll Need
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
A love for working with people.
A self‑motivated, tenacious work ethic.
Competitive drive and leadership skills.
Judgment and discretion in matching candidates with businesses.
A goal‑oriented mindset and a desire to exceed metrics.
