Mechanical Engineering Rotational Program Location: San Jose, California
Program Overview Participants will rotate through three different Watlow locations, spending approximately two months at each site. The final rotation will take place in San Jose, California, where they'll join a team of 120 engineers focused on new product development. This includes prototyping integrated thermal systems—such as tubular heaters mounted onto metal assemblies—in a fast‑paced, customer‑driven environment. The work is dynamic and hands‑on, with engineers spending time in the machine shop, running product tests, and building next‑generation solutions. Flexibility and adaptability are key, as responsibilities shift rapidly to meet evolving customer needs. This is not a desk job—expect to be on your feet, solving problems, and contributing directly to innovation.
