Director of Finance up to $230k/yr - RealEstate
We are seeking a Director ofFinance. This individual will play a key role in overseeing corporate accounting, financial reporting, and tax reporting, with exposure to private equity and real estate investments. Working closely with the CFO of a well-known international commercial real estate brand, this is an exciting leadership opportunity with potential for growth.
This role is available due to an upcoming retirement.
Responsibilities:
Oversee accounting, reporting, and tax filings for corporate entities and real estate/private equity investments
Prepare corporate budgets and manage quarterly lender reporting
Manage corporate cash flow, invoicing, receivables, and owner distributions
Oversee payroll, 401k, and worker compensation audits
Assist with tax planning and estimates for ownership
Ensure compliance with treasury activities and internal controls
Supervise audits for corporate entities and investment funds
Support capital planning and structuring of acquisitions and joint ventures
Prepare reports and analyze industry trends
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA designation with a mix of public and private experience
10+ years of senior level accounting experience within the real estate industry
A strong background in REITs, open-ended funds, and private fund structures
Knowledge of tax reporting and compliance for private REITs, partnerships, S-Corps, and K-1s
