is seeking an
MMG
Business Analyst
to join the MMG Business team. This role provides direct analytical and operational support to the
MMG Business Operations Director
in partnership with MMG, Patient Access, and enterprise analytics teams. The position is responsible for building, validating, and maintaining the operational and financial reporting that drives MMG’s day-to-day management, performance dashboards, and strategic initiatives. Position Highlights: The MMG Business Analyst plays a key role in transforming data into insight across MMG and Patient Access operations. This role supports provider productivity tracking, access and scheduling performance, staffing analysis, and financial reporting used by MMG leadership and department administrators. Partners closely with the Data Quality & Business Intelligence (DQBI) and Data Engineering teams to design and validate datasets in Snowflake (MCAP) and Power BI that support enterprise analytics such as New Patient Conversion, Provider Volumes, and Forecast Reporting. Builds Power BI dashboards and Excel-based reporting tools that inform business strategy, resource allocation, and patient access planning. Acts as a bridge between technical developers and operational stakeholders, ensuring that business requirements are clearly defined, data models are accurate, and outputs are practical and intuitive. Core Competencies: Operational Reporting and Data Modeling Performance Analytics and metrics development Cross-Functional Collaboration and Business Communication Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the MMG Business Operations Director, prepares and maintains reports, dashboards, and data models supporting MMG and Patient Access business operations. Partners with MMG Business Team members and Patient Access leaders to translate operational questions into analytic requirements and reporting logic.Data modeling and reporting includes, but is not limited to productivity reporting and dashboards, quality reporting, staffing and service models and practice analytics. Conducts data validation and quality assurance (QA) to ensure accuracy and consistency between Power BI dashboards, data source tables, and operational definitions. Summarizes key findings in executive-ready visuals and presentations that highlight trends, opportunities, and operational bottlenecks. Develops and refines Power BI dashboards used by MMG and Patient Access leadership, focusing on automation, dynamic filters, and user experience. Documents report logic, metric definitions, and business rules to support transparency, governance, and data reuse across the organization. Serves as the department’s data and analytics liaison to DQBI, Data Engineering, and Process Excellence, ensuring alignment with enterprise data strategy. Credentials and Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, Data Analytics, Health Informatics, or a related field required. Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in data analysis, business analytics, or financial modeling — preferably in healthcare operations or provider analytics. Advanced proficiency with
Power BI , including DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling for enterprise dashboards. Strong
SQL
skills and experience working with large datasets from enterprise data warehouses (Snowflake preferred). Expert-level
Excel
skills (Power Pivot, VBA, x-lookups, pivot tables, charts, and automation). Ability to design clear, visual presentations in
PowerPoint
or
Visio
that communicate analytical findings to leadership. Experience connecting operational workflows to underlying data sources and metrics (e.g., scheduling, provider productivity, patient access performance). Proven ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and analytic solutions. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to accuracy, detail, and consistency. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills — able to engage effectively with operational leaders, analysts, and technical partners.
