Customer Service Associate – Walgreens
This role provides a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Compensation is $16.00–$18.00 per hour, subject to skills and experience. The position remains open until filled.
Responsibilities
Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
Engage customers by greeting, offering assistance, and resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.
Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service at the cash register.
Recommend items for sale, trade‑ups, and companion items.
Process purchases, voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
Maintain clean, well‑merchandised counters and shelves; take inventory and maintain records.
Check in and price merchandise as required or directed by store manager.
Implement asset‑protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and super structures.
Assist with separation and placement of food items, and with stock rotation.
Maintain knowledge of store systems and equipment.
Provide customer service in photo areas, including passport photo and print services.
Assume web pick‑up responsibilities, monitor orders, pick items, and deliver to customers.
Assist with exterior and interior maintenance for a clean and orderly store appearance.
Comply with all company policies and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Training & Personal Development
Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.
Basic Qualifications
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
Six months of experience in a retail environment.
Prior work experience with Walgreens.
Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
