Youll be joining a brand new integrations team based in our Prague office, helping to lay the foundation for how we connect with external systems. This is a unique opportunity to shape the direction and culture of a new engineering team from the ground up.

In this role, you'll focus on building HR integrations using Merge.deva powerful unified API platform that enables connectivity with dozens of HRIS systems through a single API. You'll create reusable UI widgets and components that let customers manage and automate HR data connectivity with ease.

This is an ideal role for frontend-leaning fullstack developers excited by solving integration challenges through beautiful UX and scalable frontend architecture.

This is an initial 12-month fixed term contract with the view of becoming a long-term opportunity as we grow our Prague hub.

What youll be doing Develop intuitive frontend experiences using React.js, TypeScript, and related tools Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to build robust and user-friendly integrations Extend and adapt backend services in Java/Kotlin where needed Build seamless, consistent UI components to help unify the integration experience across systems Partner with the product team to continuously refine user flows and technical scope Contribute to an agile, collaborative team culture rooted in experimentation and curiosity What you need to be successful 5+ years of experience in frontend development with React, JavaScript/TypeScript Basic familiarity with Java/Kotlin and willingness to work in backend areas Experience building and consuming REST APIs as well as CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and microservices You are comfortable working in a fullstack environment that is weighted more towards the frontend (React, JavaScript & TypeScript), but also has responsibilities for the backend (Java/Kotlin) Passion for UI/UX and eagerness to create polished frontend experiences Proactive mindset and eagerness to grow into fullstack ownership Familiarity with integration tools such as Merge.dev or Zapier is a bonus but not necessary You have great enthusiasm for learning and adapting in a scale-up SaaS environment You are a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
