Job Summary
We are seeking an organized, proactive, and detail‑oriented HR Generalist to join our team. This dual role combines responsibilities in human resources management and office administration to ensure a smooth, efficient, and positive work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of HR best practices, and an aptitude for managing day‑to‑day office operations. Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.
Responsibilities
- Recruiting and onboarding of all new hires
- Process weekly payroll for approximately 40 employees through the HRIS system, Paycor
- Assist with employment related inquiries from employees
- Maintains DOT logs and files for drivers through a third party
- Reporting of workers compensation claims with follow up as needed
- Maintain all employee files, I-9’s, driver files
- Fleet tagging, licensing, registrations, etc.
- Employee tech equipment set up & distribution
- Keep track, maintain & order office inventory items.
Qualifications
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Paycor and/or iCIMS experience a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required
- Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
- Bilingual preferred
