THE ROLE Senior Engineering Manager, Storefront We’re looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Storefront team – a critical group responsible for Quince’s upper‑funnel customer experience across web and mobile. This person will own core surfaces including the homepage, discovery, collections, and recommendations that power product discovery for millions of customers.

This is a highly cross‑functional, full‑stack leadership role for someone who can move between technical direction, hands‑on decision‑making and team building. You’ll own some of the most strategically important initiatives at Quince.

This role plays a critical part in advancing both our team’s goals and Quince’s broader mission.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow the Storefront engineering team in the US.

Own the upper‑funnel customer experience - including homepage, discovery, collections, search and recommendation quality - across both web and mobile.

Architect and scale systems that support rapid growth across categories, countries and new customer segments.

Drive development of personalized and dynamic storefront experiences.

Translate ambiguous product requirements into clear technical direction and execution plans.

Partner closely with Data Science to integrate large‑scale models, improve recommendation quality, and influence ML‑driven personalization.

Ensure the team effectively navigates both web and app development cycles.

Foster strong engineering practices and a culture of quality, experimentation and continuous improvement.

Lead experimentation and data‑driven product development initiatives that help shape business strategy and drive measurable customer and revenue impact.

Qualifications

10+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years leading high‑performing engineering teams.

Proven experience building and scaling large‑scale e‑commerce websites and consumer‑facing systems.

Technical expertise in full‑stack engineering with experience improving search/recommendation quality and relevance.

Proficiency in modern web and app technologies, including React, React Native, Next.js, Node.js and CMS platforms.

Experience partnering with Data Science to improve relevance metrics and optimize personalized user experience.

Experience with A/B testing frameworks and data‑driven experimentation.

Deep familiarity with full‑stack development workflows, product ownership, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Demonstrated ability to optimize service availability, performance, and stability through operational excellence.

Passion for technology, with a strong track record of driving impact in hyper‑growth product environments.

Pay Range Pay Range: $260,000 USD - $290,000 USD

All posted ranges are reflective of base salary and may vary depending upon experience level and location. Bonus and equity may also be provided for eligible roles.
