Job Description The Lube and Tire Technician, also known as a General Service Technician, is an entry‑level automotive technician position. From day 1 you begin a comprehensive mechanic training program that covers all aspects of the role. As a General Service Technician you will perform maintenance services on guest vehicles, help deliver five‑star guest experiences, and use your technician skills to keep cars safe and reliable.
Compensation The hourly range for this role is $18–$21, based on experience. The role is eligible for an additional $2 hourly flat rate on work performed, and additional incentives may apply.
Responsibilities
Changing, mounting, and installing tires
Wheel removal, tire repair and balance, tire patch/plug repairs
Quick‑lube duties such as lubrication and oil change
Inspect and rotate tires
Basic automotive maintenance work, including battery installation
Training to perform alignments, brake services, and scheduled maintenance services
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Automotive experience
Own basic set of mechanics tools or participate in tool purchase program
Valid driver’s license
Must be at least 18 years of age
Positive attitude and collaborative mindset
Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
Automotive technician or lube and tire experience
