Overview We are seeking a talented individual to join our Digital Solutions team at Mercer. This role can be based anywhere in the United States. As part of Mercer, the world’s largest HR consulting firm, our Digital Solutions practice is a certified Workday implementation partner and the digital consulting arm of Mercer. Digital Solutions specializes in business and cloud consulting and is dedicated to transforming our clients' businesses through big data, cloud computing, enterprise services, and full‑lifecycle solutions. Our Workday practice consists of specialists with deep expertise in Human Capital Management, Payroll, Finance, process improvement, historical data conversion, and cloud software integrations.
Responsibilities
Oversee the complete implementation lifecycle of Workday Financials modules, supporting clients through the entire lifecycle and ensuring project deliverables are met within specified timelines and budget.
Help clients leverage Workday technology to enhance and unify Finance, Human Resources, and talent management, enabling them to optimize financial management capabilities.
Lead Workday Financials design sessions with clients to gather requirements and document key decisions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and analyze business requirements, ensuring the Workday solution aligns with clients' objectives; translate requirements into configurations and lead configuration of modules through prototype environments.
Drive transformation of business processes for customers, especially in Foundation Data Model (FDM) and Financial Accounting.
Provide points of view by understanding customer pain points and complexities and providing complementary solutions.
Assist clients with data conversion from legacy systems into Workday.
Guide and direct clients during testing cycles of prototypes.
Qualifications
CPA is required.
Minimum of two full lifecycle engagements implementing Financial Accounting/FDM with Workday.
3+ years of Workday Financials experience and 10–15 years of financial experience (including other ERP systems).
Deep understanding of Workday's configuration options and transactional lifecycles (e.g., Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Cash to Conversion).
Experience working through various phases of an implementation lifecycle and knowledge of implementation methodology.
Experience designing and building financial reports such as balance sheet and P&L.
Outstanding leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
What Makes You Stand Out?
Prior implementation partner experience.
Lead role experience in one or more of: Financial Accounting, FDM, Core Financials.
Active certifications in FDM, Core Financials, and Financial Accounting (strongly preferred).
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).

Compensation & Benefits Applicable base salary range: $111,600 to $223,200. Base pay is determined by experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and applicable minimum wage. Position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives.
