R137072**About the Opportunity**Northeastern University seeks a motivated PhD-trained Research Scientist with a background in pharmaceutical sciences to support academic–industrial collaborative projects. The successful candidate will conduct research activities within translational research programs focused on drug discovery, drug delivery, diagnostics, and therapeutic development. The Research Scientist will be responsible for performing research experiments, maintaining laboratory operations, collecting and analyzing data, and contributing to collaborative projects under the directions of senior scientific staff. This position provides excellent opportunity for professional development in pharmaceutical research at the academic–industry interface.**Qualifications*** Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical or Biomedical Engineering, or a related field* Minimum of 1-2 years of post-graduate experience, including industrial experience.* Foundational knowledge in pharmaceutical sciences and drug delivery systems. Technical competency in one or more of the following areas:* + Drug delivery systems (nanoparticles, liposomes, polymeric formulations)
+ Biopharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics
+ Biomarker discovery and validation (e.g., microRNA, proteomics, diagnostics)
