Job Title: Operations Team Coordinator Reports to: Sr. VP of Retail Growth, Operations, & Customer Experience Salary Range: $69,000-79,000 Location: Administration - In office, 5 days About the Position The Operations Team Coordinator plays a central role in supporting the Senior Vice President of Retail Growth, Operations, and Customer Experience (SVP-RGOCE) by coordinating systems, processes, and communication that enable strong performance across Evergreen Goodwill’s retail, e-commerce, logistics, marketing communications, and donation operations.

This position ensures the SVP’s strategic priorities are translated into clear actions, tracked through measurable systems, and executed efficiently across teams. The coordinator is both a connector and a systems‑thinker — ensuring operational alignment, clarity, and momentum behind initiatives that drive revenue growth, operational excellence, and a consistent, high-quality customer experience.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities Strategic Operational Coordination

Serve as the central coordination point for the SVP‑RGOCE, ensuring the smooth flow of information, decisions, and actions across retail, e-commerce, logistics, marketing communications, and donation centers.

Coordinate and track key operational initiatives, process improvements, and revenue‑driving projects under the SVP’s portfolio.

Develop and maintain operational systems, trackers, and dashboards that provide the SVP and leadership team with visibility into performance, timelines, and deliverables.

Translate high-level strategies into structured project plans and follow‑ups that ensure execution and accountability.

Prepare, organize, and distribute materials that support the SVP’s leadership meetings, site visits, and business reviews.

Operational Systems & Efficiency

Partner with cross‑functional leaders to evaluate and improve processes that support operational efficiency, workforce productivity, and customer‑facing outcomes.

Support the creation and refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation to ensure consistent execution across all operations.

Identify gaps or bottlenecks in existing systems and help implement scalable, data‑informed solutions in collaboration with the SVP and department leads.

Coordinate the rollout of new operational tools, technology systems, or process updates, ensuring smooth adoption and communication.

Maintain structured systems that allow the SVP to monitor project status, risk, and results across multiple operational domains.

Performance, Revenue, and Business Growth

Assist in compiling and synthesizing data into clear, actionable reports that highlight trends, opportunities, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Partner with retail, logistics, and marketing teams to coordinate and communicate initiatives that directly support revenue growth, cost optimization, and customer engagement.

Ensure data and feedback flow from frontline teams to leadership, supporting informed decision‑making and continuous improvement.

Track and report progress on strategic business goals and growth initiatives led by the SVP‑RGOCE.

Customer Experience & Brand Consistency

Ensure that operational systems and processes directly support Evergreen Goodwill’s commitment to exceptional customer and donor experiences.

Collaborate with store, marketing, and operations teams to reinforce consistent brand presentation, service standards, and customer satisfaction metrics.

Help operationalize initiatives designed by the SVP‑RGOCE that strengthen customer experience and brand equity across all channels.

Gather and organize feedback from customers, staff, and field leaders to inform service improvement and operational alignment.

Leadership & Administrative Support

Manage scheduling, communications, and administrative logistics for the SVP‑RGOCE to ensure time is focused on strategic leadership priorities.

Support the preparation of presentations, communications, and leadership materials that reflect progress and outcomes across the SVP’s scope.

Maintain documentation, meeting notes, and operational records in organized, accessible formats.

Represent the SVP’s office with professionalism, discretion, and accuracy in all internal and external communications.

Uphold confidentiality and trust as a key partner supporting executive‑level coordination and decision‑making.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Retail Management, or a related field—or equivalent experience.

3+ years of experience in operations, logistics, retail business coordination, or process improvement roles.

Strong analytical and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of synthesizing information for leadership‑level audiences.

Proven ability to develop systems and tools that track, organize, and improve operational performance.

Collaborative and adaptable, with strong interpersonal skills for working across departments and leadership levels.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting senior or executive leadership in a multi‑site, multi‑channel retail or nonprofit organization.

Familiarity with lean management or continuous improvement methodologies.

Proficiency in data tracking, dashboarding, or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Smartsheet).

Knowledge of collaboration platforms (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Planner, or similar).

Strong attention to process design, workflow documentation, and operational execution.

Physical Abilities

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit for periods of time, communicate with others, and lift or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Vision requirements include close and distance vision, color perception, and focus adjustment.

Reliable attendance and effective communication—including with individuals with limited English proficiency—are required.
