Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio is seeking a board certified/board eligible Internal Medicine Physician for nights coverage in the ICU. Work on a great team in a very collegial multi-specialty group. We are 1-2 hours from Dayton, Toledo, Fort Wayne, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Detroit.
Highlights:
Nocturnist - 5 PM to 5 AM, 7 on, 7 off rotation.
Coverage for the medical center at night in addition to admissions.
APC assists with either rounding or admitting at night.
Overnight admits range from 12 to 20.
Arterial lines are not required but ultrasound is available if you would like to do them.
No patients under the age of 16.
Teach residents, medical students, and APC's.
Most specialties represented except for burns and transplants.
407 bed count facility with a 10-county catchment area of 480,000+.
Respond to Code Blues.
Closed ICU.
Competitive compensation and full benefits package.
Agreements are based on 161 shifts.
Eligible for Supplemental Executive Retirement plan at 181+ shifts (in addition to 403b with match).
8 weeks fully paid parental leave (father). Mother - 8 weeks fully paid plus 6-8 weeks at 60%.
