Responsibilities:
Implementation of content strategy for internal and external marketing communications, including materials promoting firm capabilities across practices, industries, and offices.
Manages the firm’s editorial calendar, encompassing activities driven by marketing, business development, employee relations, DEI, recruiting, and other firm areas.
Writes and edits copy for web, collateral, digital platforms, and produces talking points for firm leadership and internal events, ensuring messaging standards and consistency in tone, quality, and content.
Supervises and mentors 1-2 professionals on the Marketing Communications team by providing guidance, technical support, and constructive feedback to foster team development and produce high-quality work.
Maintains strong knowledge of the legal market and firm capabilities nationwide, applying this to optimize marketing initiatives.
Collaborates with the Public Relations team and CMO to identify and leverage media opportunities.
Manages the production of marketing collateral such as brochures, practice profiles, placemats, announcements, and invitations.
Delivers training sessions, individually and in groups, to attorneys on topics like media relations and social media best practices.
Bachelor’s degree required
5+ years of experience in a law firm marketing department
