Job Description Plans, schedules and manages the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production. Develops raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production. May use Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems, negotiate lead times with suppliers, and manage schedules for timely delivery. Performs configuration management duties, participates in weekly meetings for updates and changes to scheduling plans, processes and tracks change notices, and ensures Bill of Materials is in compliance for audits to meet MMAS requirements.

Responsibilities

Plan, schedule and manage material flow from receiving or warehouse to production.

Develop raw material and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules.

Use MRP systems to support material planning.

Negotiate lead times with suppliers and manage delivery schedules.

Perform configuration management duties and tasks.

Participate in weekly meetings for updates and changes to scheduling plans.

Process, track and edit change notices.

Ensure BOM compliance for audits to meet MMAS requirements.

Required Education, Experience & Skills

Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience (or work experience considered in lieu of a degree).

Previous experience in material management, production planning or a related field.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other computer applications or software.

Preferred Education, Experience & Skills

Oracle experience a plus.

Good communication skills and ability to work with multiple functions and levels within internal and external organizations.

Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $66,400 - $112,880. Individual salaries are determined by business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications.
