Position Title WHE Operation & Maintenance Manager
Area of Requirement Crane / Weight Handling Equipment Operations
Scope of Position Provides full authority to ensure safe and effective Weight Handling Equipment (WHE) operations and maintenance.
Tasks and Capabilities Required
Oversee WHE operations, inspections, certifications, and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with safety, crane operation standards, and lifting protocols.
Supervise operators, riggers, and maintenance personnel.
Maintain documentation, PM schedules, and certification records.
Mandatory Experience and Certifications
Minimum ten (10) years of experience involving WHE operation and maintenance.
Minimum five (5) years in supervisory or management roles involving WHE personnel/equipment.
Preferred/Desired Certifications
NCCCO Crane Operator or Inspector certifications
NAVFAC WHE certification experience
Special Qualifications/Requirements Must be able to successfully pass, as required, a federal, state, or local government's background investigation.
