Primary Responsibilities
Supervise, lead, and grow an SPS team in Minnesota/Wisconsin.
Oversee execution of SPS projects delivered to clients regionally and globally.
Manage individual projects within technical expertise.
Specific Duties
Operatively manage and directly supervise the HDR SPS team, overseeing workload, quality, utilization, teamwork, training, and annual performance reviews.
Provide technical leadership and project oversight to ensure proper staffing and execution of project work internally and externally.
Establish and leverage a network of relationships with technical peers in other offices for work‑sharing opportunities.
Manage workload and utilization to meet operating goals, maintaining accurate forecasting.
Collaborate with local, regional, and national leadership to grow Power Delivery capabilities through recruitment and staff training.
Represent HDR in business and community activities.
Act independently, mentoring and supervising staff as needed.
Perform other duties as required.
Preferred Qualifications
FE or PE license strongly preferred.
Experience in the north central region preferred.
Prior management experience with staff, projects, contracts, and hiring at an engineering consulting firm preferred.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 7 years experience.
Professional registration, license, or certification may be required based on role.
Strong communication and listening skills.
Ability to handle multiple assignments.
Good leadership and organizational skills.
