The Associate Dean for Professional Practice and Advanced Nursing Practice is administratively responsible for the development of faculty practice/service opportunities which integrates the scholarship, educational and service aspects of the mission and for outreach educational activities for professionals and the public. The incumbent manages the Advanced Practice Nursing Academic Programs and the School of Nursing Faculty Practice Plan. The incumbent is accountable to the Dean of the School of Nursing. Position Summary
The Associate Dean for Professional Practice and Advanced Nursing Practice is administratively responsible for the development of faculty practice/service opportunities which integrates the scholarship, educational and service aspects of the mission and for outreach educational activities for professionals and the public. The incumbent manages the Advanced Practice Nursing Academic Programs and the School of Nursing Faculty Practice Plan. The incumbent is accountable to the Dean of the School of Nursing.
Minimum Qualifications
PhD in Nursing; Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the US and eligible for Louisiana licensure; 5 years experience in University School of Nursing, progressive experience in the administration of undergrad, graduate & advanced practice nursing programs; management of faculty practice or similar faculty incentive programs, or clinical practice.
