The Data Governance Analyst will provide support in data analytics, management, and architecture, ensuring all activities comply with relevant laws and policies, including privacy and civil liberties considerations. Data Governance Analyst (SME)
Lead the Cross Support team, overseeing portfolio specialists, capture analysts, and content managers. Utilize tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar ITSM platforms to monitor team assignments, ensure resource equity, and maintain quality control. Conduct daily SCRUM meetings to identify and mitigate risks. Coordinate across teams for complex tasks and promote skill development through mentoring and training. Document and communicate data process business rules and systems across sectors and IT. Manage multiple projects, developing data solutions with stakeholders. Provide technical and analytical support to ensure data consistency and integrity across systems. Translate technical findings into business insights and present recommendations to management. Work with cross-functional teams to establish and communicate data management rules. Ensure projects align with client strategies and are completed effectively. Possess comprehensive knowledge of data management techniques, Big Data, Data Warehouses, RDBs, SQL, and Master Data Management systems. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Degrees in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Database Administration, GIS, Information Security, IT, IT Management, Network Administration, Software Development, Technical Writing, Web Design & Development. Experience supporting U.S. Federal Government as a Database Administrator/Manager/Systems Engineer, with knowledge of database standards and end-user applications. At least five years of experience in data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL, concurrent with work experience. At least five years in database design, data modeling, data mining, query creation, report generation, documentation, coding, and API programming, concurrent with work experience. At least five years working with statistical packages for large datasets, concurrent with work experience. Strong problem-solving skills, strategic and critical task prioritization, and algorithmic thinking. Desired Skills
