IT Security Administrator

Responsibilities o Provide daily operational support for AS400 systems, ensuring uptime and optimal performance. o Perform routine system monitoring, backups, and patching to maintain system integrity. o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the AS400 platform, including hardware and software issues. o Support and enhance AS400 -based business applications (e.g., ERP systems, custom applications). o Assist with system configuration and application setups to align with business processes. o Plan, schedule, and implement system upgrades and patches to ensure the system is running on the latest software versions. o Work closely with other IT teams to test and implement new features and functionality. o Monitor system performance and make recommendations for optimization. o Perform capacity planning to ensure adequate resources for growing business needs. o Provide training and guidance to end users on AS400 systems and applications. o Serve as a point of contact for end-user troubleshooting and queries. o Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures. o Generate regular status reports on system performance, issues, and resolutions.
