Position Summary The Financial Planning & Wealth Management Associate is a key member of our advisory and planning team, working in close partnership with senior advisors to manage client relationships and support both the planning and business‑development process.

This individual will assist in preparing financial plans, conducting portfolio analysis, and coordinating all aspects of client service—from onboarding to implementation. You’ll play a hands‑on role in client engagement, helping ensure each relationship runs smoothly and efficiently.

This position is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys working in a dynamic team setting, supporting client opportunities, and taking ownership of internal coordination to deliver an exceptional client experience. Series 7 and life‑insurance licenses are preferred, but not required.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate communication between clients, senior advisors, and internal departments (Investments, Planning, Servicing, Operations).

Prepare and organize materials for client meetings, including presentations, plan updates, and follow‑up summaries.

Support client onboarding, account opening, and service requests with accuracy and attention to compliance standards.

Track action items, oversee progress on open cases, and maintain documentation within CRM and planning systems.

Develop and update comprehensive financial plans that include retirement, education, insurance, and estate planning strategies.

Analyze investment portfolios, asset allocations, and insurance coverage; prepare supporting research and recommendations.

Conduct plan modeling and scenario analysis using financial‑planning tools (eMoney, LBS, Brentmark, Orion).

Work with advisors to review client outcomes, monitor performance metrics, and recommend plan or portfolio adjustments.

Partner with senior advisors to prepare for client opportunities, review case strategies, and support sales and growth initiatives.

Assist in producing proposals, presentations, and materials for client acquisition and retention.

Contribute to internal process improvement and operational efficiency projects.

Participate in firm meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development toward Series 65/66 or CFP® certification.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.

Strong analytical skills; comfortable using financial‑planning and investment tools.

Excellent communication and organizational skills with a strong sense of accountability.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or advisory support.

Active Series 7 and life‑insurance license.

Series 65/66 (or in progress); CFP® certification or active candidate status.

Experience with platforms like eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, Orion, or Morningstar.

Background working with high‑net‑worth or business‑owner clients.

Demonstrated initiative in improving workflows, building relationships, or supporting firm growth.

Enjoys a collaborative, team‑oriented environment with high performance standards.
