What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Provide expert forensic nursing consultation during real-time, acute sexual assault examinations via telehealth
Attend virtual, monthly scheduled team meetings
Provide a minimum of 48 hours of night call per month, along with rotating weekend coverage
Participate in up to 3 in-person training sessions in State College, PA annually
Conduct individualized virtual training sessions as needed for quality assurance and growth
What is Required (Qualifications):
Must hold or be willing to obtain an active, unrestricted Pennsylvania RN license or Compact multi-state license
SANE-A certification through the International Association of Forensic Nursing
Evidence of multiple years of robust clinical preceptorship experience
Access to high-speed internet and a confidential, quiet place for remote consultations
Ability to commit to on-call hours and weekend coverage
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Previous experience in telehealth or remote consultation settings
Familiarity with the SAFE-T Center's mission and goals
Additional certifications in forensic nursing or related fields
Strong communication and mentorship skills
Experience working with rural healthcare providers
