Overview The Controller will oversee all general accounting functions—including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll—ensuring accurate financial reporting and robust internal controls. This role will work closely with the CFO to support forecasting, budgeting, and system integration efforts while leading the ongoing transition to NetSuite. The position also involves managing the integration of newly acquired practices and maintaining consistency across financial systems.
Responsibilities
Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, including general ledger, AP, AR, and payroll.
Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance frameworks.
Support the CFO and FP&A team with data accuracy and insights to inform forecasting and budgeting; assist in the integration of newly acquired practices.
Lead the continued rollout and optimization of NetSuite for accounting and reporting functions.
Collaborate with operational and finance leaders to improve efficiency and transparency across processes.
Provide guidance, training, and oversight to accounting team members.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred but not required.
8–12+ years of accounting or operational finance experience, including leadership at the Controller or Senior Finance Manager level.
Experience in healthcare, care delivery, or primary care organizations strongly preferred; strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting operations, and close processes.
Hands‑on leader with experience implementing or managing financial systems (NetSuite preferred).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills; ability to thrive in a growing, fast‑paced environment that values collaboration and accountability.
