Warehouse Associate
to direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations at our
Houston
, TX
warehouse. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of solar installation materials. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
Responsibilities
Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
Collaborate with area project manager's and installation crews to ensure efficiency throughout installation process
Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
Management and maintenance of fleet vehicles
Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
Ordering of job supplies necessary to support installation activities

Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
Strong decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills

Preferences
High School Diploma or GED
Experience in solar, electrical, or warehouse operations
OSHA 10
Forklift certification
Required Qualifications
Must be able to follow directions and follow all safety procedures in place
Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time
Must be able to use proper technique to frequently lift 50 pounds
Working knowledge of computers and Google based programs required
Must be on-time and reliable for warehouse operations
