It encompasses seven UIC health science colleges and regional campuses, with a focus on health equity. Position Summary:

The Fellows will complete projects involving research, proposal development, and implementation planning. They will collaborate with executives and clinical/non-clinical teams on high-impact initiatives aligned with UI Health's strategic goals. The role involves acting as project managers, exploring areas of interest, engaging with leadership, and gaining exposure to executive meetings. Responsibilities include weekly/monthly administrative tasks with executive support. Duties & Responsibilities: Develop and implement policies and long-term plans within assigned hospital areas, acting as project manager or co-lead. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project design, implementation, and evaluation. Participate in meetings with leadership to gain insights into hospital governance and operations. Conduct data analysis to inform decisions and drive improvements. Identify operational efficiencies and recommend evidence-based solutions. Support strategic projects across departments like clinical operations, finance, and HR. Serve in management roles such as Interim Strategic Project Manager as needed. Analyze and improve patient services across care settings. Develop policies/procedures for patient admission, evaluation, discharge, and follow-up. Assist senior leaders with meeting content, agendas, and follow-ups. Provide administrative support and evaluate operations. Plan and review staff work within assigned units. Participate in professional development and mentorship activities.
