Welder
1st Shift | Location: Cudahy, WI | Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM | Pay Range: $23 - $28/hour (based on experience) Position Overview
We are currently hiring experienced Welders for our 1st shift team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with hardwire and/or metal core welding techniques. While we are not currently using flux core welding, familiarity with it is a plus as we may implement it in the future. Candidates should be comfortable operating jib cranes, overhead cranes, and forklifts, and have or be able to obtain certification to AWS D1.1 standards. Key Responsibilities
Perform welding tasks using hardwire and/or metal core processes Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to complete projects to specification Operate jib cranes, overhead cranes, and forklifts to safely move and position materials Conduct quality checks on welds and assemblies to ensure compliance with standards Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of welding equipment Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of welding experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment Proficient in hardwire and/or metal core welding Familiarity with AWS D1.1 standards (certification or ability to become certified required) Experience using jib cranes, overhead cranes, and forklifts Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
