Tiny Transformations is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist for an immediate full time opportunity within the Garden City, West Hempstead and Island Park school districts. We offer very competitive rates, including compensation per individual session, group treatment session and student absences.
Position Overview The ideal candidate will deliver high quality school based PT services to a varied K through 12 caseload, collaborating with educators, families and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
Responsibilities • Provide evidence based pediatric physical therapy services to students in grades K through 12 • Manage and prioritize a diverse daily caseload across assigned school sites • Maintain an accurate live calendar and schedule • Complete documentation, session notes and reports in a timely and compliant manner • Communicate professionally with school staff, families and the Tiny Transformations team • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on goal creation and progress updates • Support students in accessing their educational environment through mobility, motor development and functional skill building
What We Are Looking For • A passionate, student centered practitioner who truly enjoys pediatric rehabilitation • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong professional relationships • Commitment to high quality care and consistent documentation • Flexibility, reliability and a positive, collaborative attitude
Requirements • Valid NYS Physical Therapist license • Experience in pediatric or school based settings preferred • Ability to begin immediately
