Company Description
We are a mixed animal hospital, consisting of 75% small animals and 25% large animals, primarily focusing on cow-calf operations.
We have two full-time veterinarians on staff and are seeking a third. Our hospital offers comprehensive small animal services, as well as both mobile and haul-in large animal services.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Veterinary Technician or Assistant located in Valley City, ND. The responsibilities include providing excellent care to animals, assisting veterinarians with medical procedures, monitoring anesthesia during surgeries, educating pet owners on preventive care, and maintaining a clean and organized clinic. The role also involves collaborating with team members to ensure high standards of patient care and client satisfaction.
Qualifications Animal Care and Pet Care skills to provide compassionate and effective support to patients. Veterinary Technology expertise and experience in assisting with medical procedures and equipment. Skills in Anesthesiology to monitor patients during surgical and non-surgical procedures. Client Education skills to guide and inform pet owners about their animals' health and wellness needs. Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills. A veterinary technician degree or certification (preferred but not required). Previous experience in a clinical or animal care setting is an advantage.
