Job Summary The Warehouse Manager is responsible for shipping and receiving all products; ensuring that all materials are staged, loaded, and delivered to jobs daily, according to schedule; and guardianship of product from receipt at facility to delivery to job site. The position will supervise the logistics assistant.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Receive shipments, verify for accuracy, and ensure inventory software is updated accordingly
Verify packing list and contents and update Buyer. Coordinate with manufacturer & buyer when discrepancies are discovered.
Stage products in designated areas according to the job
Communicate with the scheduler on product arrival regarding its expected deployment
Check out products and load technician’s vans with jobs according to schedule
Manage products that travel internally to rack build and programming locations
Maintain a specified level of van stock products and consumables for the technicians to replenish their vans
Perform quarterly inventories
Handle customer initiated and internal returns and returning the product to stock
Process manufacturer returns and RMA’s in a timely and cost‑effective manner
Communicate effectively with and take direction from Lead Technicians and the Project Manager
Effectively manage runner for efficiency and effectiveness
Accurate time clock entries and job costing where applicable for materials delivery
Make decisions and be held accountable to Time and Materials
Local travel to job sites as needed
Provide training or communication to disseminate pertinent information as required
Fiscal responsibility for all assets assigned and property within WM’s care and custody
Guardianship and preservation of client confidentiality and network/home security
Adherence to state and federal laws, including adherence to traffic laws
Qualifications
Ability to learn our most utilized parts as well as be able to identify most of equipment utilized by the technicians.
Navigate the warehouse and organize it efficiently is key.
Basic computer skills with the ability to become competent in‑house job management software.
Managing time wisely while unsupervised is an advantage.
Physical Requirements
Ability to organize large projects with several hundred pieces
Must be able to lift and carry 60lbs
May require standing or stooping for extended periods
Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and clear criminal record required
