Job Description The primary responsibility of this position is to support the fundraising activities of the Centra Foundation by providing database management and ensuring database integrity. This position will implement best practices in the areas of gift entry, gift processing, data entry and reporting, and donor relations.
Responsibilities
Oversee data integrity and continuous management of the Raiser’s Edge donor database and other programs for the Centra Foundation.
Control access rights, set up new users, and consult with end users regarding problems in accessing electronic content.
Enter gifts and process batches in the Raiser’s Edge donor database, prepare bank deposits and create personalized acknowledgement letters and emails.
Communicate payroll deduction and PTO gift requests to Payroll department; reconcile payroll deductions and PTO gifts.
Collaborate with Centra departments and other stakeholders to ensure timely recording of gifts and pledges and accuracy of reports.
Build and run queries and exports to ensure data integrity, identify gaps or opportunities, and take necessary actions to improve data accuracy.
Create donor lists and mailing lists from the Raiser’s Edge donor database.
Assist the Centra Foundation with gift campaigns and solicitations through database support, entry and maintenance of accurate donor records; perform database cleanup functions.
Monitor regulatory activity to maintain compliance with records and document management laws.
Assist with creation and distribution of mass and targeted mailings for solicitations, newsletters and other publications for the Centra Foundation.
Maintain confidentiality of all donors, assure database security, and ensure the security of the Centra Foundation’s credit card portal.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree.
At least three years of database experience.
Ability to work innovatively, independently, and prioritize responsibilities.
Strong organizational skills; ability to pay attention to a great number of details and diligently follow up.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
High level of personal and professional integrity in dealing with colleagues, donors and confidential information.
Ability to work some evening and weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Raiser’s Edge experience.
Experience in a fundraising environment.
