Job Type Full-timeDescriptionJOB TITLE: LVN SCHEDULERJOB CODE: 23DEPARTMENT: ADMINISTRATIVE FLSA STATUS: NON-EXEMPTREPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF NURSINGJOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living in order to promote resident independence and dignity. Also responsible for facility scheduling.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately, and perform nail care of any residents assignedFollow resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurseLift, move, and transfer residents as requiredAnswer call lights in a timely mannerAssist or feed residentsKeep resident clean and dry, toileting or providing incontinent careProvide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residentsMonthly schedule development based on facility budgeted PPDComplete and post daily scheduleComplete daily staffing sheet postings and maintain one year of postingsWork to replace staff for PTO/sick requests, call in's, absenteeismTrack attendance of clinical team membersWork on the floor as a CNA or CMA as neededParticipate in on call schedule as assignedUnderstand and adhere to the guidelines of "Residents Rights" and assure resident safetyOther duties as assignedRequirementsQUALIFICATIONS:Required Current LVN license CPR certified required; 30 days will be given to complete a course and get certifiedAbility to understand, remember and carry out verbal or written instructions in English Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner Ability to work flexibly and positively with intermittent interruptions Ability to speak clearly and provide educational skills that are conducive to a good learning environment in training staff on skill related work; good customer servicePreferred 2 years nurse experience in long term care/skilled nursingPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, and reaching up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationsWORK SCHEDULE: As assigned; including some weekends evenings and holidaysWORK ENVIRONMENT: Clinical Caraday Healthcare provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, or any other characteristic protected by law.
