Job Summary
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Location:
VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) - Multiple Sites Contract Period:
Base Year + Three Option Years Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Hourly:
32.00/hr-45.00/hr plus 4.93 for Health and Wellness
Primary Responsibilities
Responsibilities: Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by providers. Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the care team. Assist in wound care, specimen collection, and patient education. Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care continuity. Provide support for medical procedures and assessments. Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and VA policies. Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications:
Active LVN license
in any U.S. state. Minimum
one year of LVN experience
in a healthcare setting. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong clinical skills in medication administration and patient care.
Knowledge of VA policies and healthcare standards preferred
