We are currently seeking an EDI & Logistics Data Analyst to join our dynamic team at our headquarters in Scarborough, Maine. SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
We are looking for a skilled EDI & Logistics Data Analyst to join our team. This role serves as a bridge between data integration and business intelligence, making it ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys building and supporting clean, scalable data flows. Additionally, the analyst will enable business insights through reporting and analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1.) EDI & Integration:
Build, monitor, and support EDI workflows
Develop and manage API-based integrations (REST, SOAP) for internal and external systems
Maintain data transformation and mapping logic across formats (JSON, XML, CSV)
Manage file transmissions via SFTP, AS2, or VANs
Troubleshoot data transmission, logic, and mapping errors
2.) Data & Reporting Analysis:
Create and maintain operational dashboards and reports to support business decisions
Build and automate recurring reports using data pulled from TMS, WMS, ERP, or SQL databases
Assist departments in identifying key metrics and building custom reporting views
Support data cleanup and integrity initiatives across integrated systems
3.) System Support:
Provide technical support for EDI and integration-related issues
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve system connectivity issues
Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential integration problems
Maintain documentation for all EDI processes and system integrations
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of one (1) year of hands-on EDI experience required.
Experience in transportation, logistics, or distribution environments is required.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred.
Experience building or supporting APIs and integrations preferred.
Experience with NetSuite, SAP TM, BluJay/E2Open, or similar systems preferred.
Familiarity with integration platforms (e.g., Boomi, Celigo, MuleSoft, Power Automate) preferred.
Strong troubleshooting ability for data transmission and logic errors
Experience with data automation tools or custom scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, SQL)
Understanding of SFTP, AS2, VAN protocols
SQL or BI tool experience (Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, etc.) preferred
Knowledge of data modeling, KPI development, and dashboard design preferred
