Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a comparable education Ideally more than 3 years of professional experience in the field of circuit design, analysis and commissioning, preferably in the aerospace sector Very good experience in the field of circuit design, preparation of analyses and troubleshooting As a plus: taking into account ECSS or other standards and usage of Altium Designer and Spice tools Experience with and comfortable in handling electronic test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscope Initiative, enthusiasm and the ability to work in a team and on large projects A structured, independent and responsible approach to work and a high level of quality awareness Good verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably also in German What are your responsibilities? Participation in exciting, national and international research activities developing space technologies beyond the state-of-the-art Development of digital and analogue circuits for space electronics with focus on high-speed digital interfaces. Schematic design and PCB layout using Altium Designer with up to 20 layers HDI designs Perform simulations for circuit parts using tools such as Spice Preparation of analysis documents, e.g. worst case analysis, derating, reliability and power Requirement engineering and close co-workmanship with the systems engineering Supporting/preparing of external manufacturing processes (PCB manufacturing and board assembly) Initial operation and commissioning of developed circuits Specification and execution of electrical and optional environmental test procedures Possibility to attend conferences or workshops to discuss the latest innovations with other technical experts and to present achievements Apply as Hardware Development Engineer [R&D] If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
