Senior IT Auditor – Cybersecurity & Risk Controls Senior IT Auditor – Cybersecurity & Risk Controls Join a fast-growing insurance and financial services organization that specializes in innovative life and health insurance solutions. We’re looking for a Senior IT Auditor who thrives in a dynamic, regulated environment and is ready to take the lead on IT audits, cybersecurity reviews, and risk assessments. Responsibilities: Lead and execute IT audits, including ITGCs, cybersecurity, and operational reviews Draft clear, actionable audit findings and reports Review team testing and mentor junior auditors Contribute to enterprise risk assessments and control design improvements Utilize automation and AI tools to improve audit efficiency Partner with leadership, external auditors, and cross-functional teams Qualifications: 3–5 years in IT audit, security, or technology risk Strong grasp of audit testing (TOD/TOE), IT controls, and risk frameworks Certification(s) such as CISA, CRISC, or CISSP preferred Excellent communication, critical thinking, and project management skills Experience in insurance, financial services, or related industries a plus Bonus Points: Familiarity with GRC tools like Onspring, Venminder, or BlackKite What We Offer: Competitive salary and generous PTO 401(k) with match + company-paid medical, STD/LTD, and life insurance A collaborative team and opportunities to innovate and grow This role requires occasional travel (5–10%).
