Position Overview As part of the Business Analytics and Technology Team (BAT), the Business Intelligence team drives the use of data for better decision making across the organization. The BI team develops, implements, guides and supports business initiatives and objectives, in close collaboration with SSE’s functional group. The team is responsible for the overall data infrastructure of the organization, including CRM, data warehouse, CX platform, and CDP.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the day-to-day BI reporting and analytic needs of the organization by ensuring data accuracy, building visualizations, automated reports and dashboards for functional areas, including Ticketing, Operations, Marketing, Executive and more.
Serve as an internal consultant on use of data and analytics. Partner with functional areas to achieve goals & identify data-driven opportunities.
Utilize internal and external data & systems to establish an understanding of customer behaviors and information.
Build and maintain KPI sets and dashboards to continuously review and report on performance.
Design customer insights and drive sales by building customer profiles, predictive models, and projections to power data-driven decisions.
In collaboration with the rest of the BI team, lead key functions of the CRM, Dashboarding, Analytics and CX platforms, including data collection, segmentation, lead scoring and lead distribution.
Support BI team members as needed by empowering internal users with training, proactive problem-solving, while collaborating with vendors for seamless business operations.
Contribute to BI departments knowledge base by continuous documentation and process mapping, identifying areas of improvements.
Deliver ad-hoc projects, analysis, and other duties as assigned.
Participate in special projects or other related duties as requested.
Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of progressively responsible professional experience in solving business problems using data and analytics.
Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing or other relevant fields, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
An analytical and big-picture thinker; highly motivated and driven.
A positive, winning approach, incorporating integrity, confidentiality, and discretion.
Exceptional analytical skills; detailed, results oriented, and proactive.
Excellent communication skills, presentation skills and confidence in leading conversations.
Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word and Outlook. Proficient user of Microsoft Office Excel.
Proficient user of Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud or other data visualization tools. SAP Analytics Cloud experience is preferred.
Data Engineering familiarity is an asset.
Thrives in a fast-paced team environment with ability to productively lead multiple priorities.
Demonstrate the ability to successfully work in a team and with stakeholders across an organization.
Knowledge of Ticketmaster Archtics is an asset.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand and utilize a computer for extended periods of time.
Communicate via phone and email with a variety of individuals.
Ability to bend at the waist, reach overhead and lift up to 15 lbs with or without accommodation.
Physically navigate stairs and catwalks at SSE facilities during normal work hours and events with or without accommodation.
Ability to work occasional extended hours including nights, weekends, holidays (all with advance notice).
May be required to travel to other company locations.
May be required to attend conferences, events, and training sessions within Bay Area or in‑or‑out of state locations.
