role at
Weights & Biases
CoreWeave, the AI Hyperscaler™, acquired Weights & Biases to create the most powerful end-to-end platform to develop, deploy, and iterate AI faster. Since 2017, CoreWeave has operated a growing footprint of data centers covering every region of the US and across Europe, and was ranked as one of the TIME100 most influential companies of 2024. By bringing together CoreWeave’s industry‑leading cloud infrastructure with the best‑in‑class tools AI practitioners know and love from Weights & Biases, we’re setting a new standard for how AI is built, trained, and scaled.
The integration of our teams and technologies is accelerating our shared mission: to empower developers with the tools and infrastructure they need to push the boundaries of what AI can do. From experiment tracking and model optimization to high‑performance training clusters, agent building, and inference at scale, we’re combining forces to serve the full AI lifecycle — all in one seamless platform.
Weights & Biases has long been trusted by over 1,500 organizations — including AstraZeneca, Canva, Cohere, OpenAI, Meta, Snowflake, Square, Toyota, and Wayve — to build better models, AI agents and applications. Now, as part of CoreWeave, that impact is amplified across a broader ecosystem of AI innovators, researchers, and enterprises.
As we unite under one vision, we’re looking for bold thinkers and agile builders who are excited to shape the future of AI alongside us. If you’re passionate about solving complex problems at the intersection of software, hardware, and AI, there’s never been a more exciting time to join our team.
What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will help evolve the Registry—the system ML and product teams use to catalog, discover, and manage models, datasets, and related assets across the organization.
You’ll implement well‑scoped features across the stack, learn from senior/staff engineers, and contribute to a product used by some of the largest ML teams in the world.
As a full‑stack engineer, you will collaborate with engineers, product, and design to ship user‑focused improvements quickly and safely.
As the platform grows, you’ll help build the foundations that make these capabilities reliable and delightful.
About The Role
Deliver well‑scoped features and projects with growing independence (frontend, backend, or both).
Contribute to executing the Registry roadmap: implement new functionalities, build accessible, performant components; and smooth out rough edges.
Apply system design principles at a basic level to build scalable and maintainable solutions.
Identify and propose small improvements in code quality, performance, or team processes.
Collaborate with product and design to translate user needs into clear technical implementations.
Contribute to code reviews, providing thoughtful feedback and learning from peers.
Proactively learn new technologies relevant to the Registry platform and share knowledge with the team.
Help onboard new hires or interns by sharing context and team practices.
Participate actively in team discussions, offering input on design, implementation, and trade‑offs.
Who You Are
2-4 years of experience building and maintaining user‑facing web applications.
Experience with modern web development tools and frameworks, such as React, TypeScript, GraphQL.
Solid understanding of programming fundamentals and experience with at least one modern language (e.g., Go, Python, C++, Java, JavaScript).
Enthusiasm for learning how to build reliable, high‑quality software through hands‑on experience, mentorship, and feedback.
Curiosity and persistence in understanding ambiguous problems and exploring potential solutions with a tendency towards action.
Ability to work with product and customer‑facing teams to translate user feedback into technical solutions.
Interest in the AI/ML space and motivation to grow in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.
Wondering if you’re a good fit? We believe in investing in our people, and value candidates who can bring their own diversified experiences to our teams – even if you aren’t a 100% skill or experience match. Here are some qualities we’ve found compatible with our team. If some of this describes you, we’d love to talk.
Outgoing and friendly: you’ll love this role if you enjoy connecting with real users day‑to‑day, helping them solve issues and understand good patterns for using our tools.
Autonomous: if you work well in a self‑directed environment and proactively find ways to improve processes and collaborate with team members or engaged users, your initiative will really shine in this role.
Curious and driven: explore machine learning and learn more about the engineering stack and common ML workflows. Solve problems in both fast‑paced, short‑term sprints and in larger, more long‑term projects.
Organized: a core part of engineering support at Weights & Biases is organizing feedback from many channels into a single, orderly stream. Your organizational skills and time management will be key to running this process well.
Why Us? We work hard, have fun, and move fast! We’re in an exciting stage of hyper‑growth that you will not want to miss out on. We’re not afraid of a little chaos, and we’re constantly learning. Our team cares deeply about how we build our product and how we work together, which is represented through our core values:
