Responsibilities
Writing daily queries using SQL for data analysis
Utilizing UNIX for debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files and logs
Planning testing strategies to meet delivery scope and dates
Conducting software compatibility testing for operating system, accessibility, usability and security of the product
Reporting Software defects and tracking them through defect tracking system
Performing test results analysis
Conducting software documentation review to ensure compliance and provide feedback to mitigate risks
Creating testing procedures that ensure software quality and software usability.
Installing and deploying production like environments to test the software release readiness
Developing & publishing standards to determine product quality and release readiness
Performing database validations
Creating automation scripts
Qualifications
3-7 years of experience in QA Engineering
Knowledge of writing basic SQL queries
Experience with UNIX commands to debug any server-side issues
Proficiency in debugging and writing test cases
