This role would allow you to work as a part of our Expert Experience & Insights Team. Our team’s mission is to deeply understand the expert experience and drive actions to improve their experiences at Intuit. We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Marketing Manager and Event Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for hosting our experts weekly at our Mountain View office, managing the logistics of their visits as well as collaborating with local mission teams in support of Consumer Group. The ideal candidate will have prior customer service and hospitality experience, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven track record in marketing or event management. Some travel will be required for this role. Responsibilities
Lead expert engagement activities in Mountain View, including:
Hosting experts and ensuring a welcoming and professional experience Creating a personalized experience for each expert Supporting sessions, ensuring that events run smoothly and have been organized to the highest standards Ability to understand expert roles, process and tools to be able to communicate and support effectively
Scheduling, Coordination, And Oversight Of Weekly Events, Including
Ensuring the appropriate pre‑work to understand study goals is complete Acting as a liaison to product, research, and leadership teams Coordinating with recruitment team for experts for in‑person sessions Coordinating and scheduling sessions with product and service teams Booking and coordinating travel arrangements for experts, including:
Hotel reservations and relationship management with local hotel contacts Flight reservations Uber or rental car reservations
Manage scheduling, track feedback, and report out status and performance updates for the on‑site program Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful event outcomes Coordinating with on‑site catering and food service teams to support expert visits Ongoing communication with experts and support teams
Local Experts Support
Collaborating with local mission teams to coordinate on‑site events in support of Consumer Group (CG) Event planning, logistics and support Partner with Learning and Development for training logistics with CG experts Some travel will be required to alternate Intuit campus locations
Provide additional support to the Expert Experience & Insights team, including:
Support and moderate qualitative research This includes building trust with experts, actively listening to their feedback, recording key insights and providing feedback to support teams to drive action Collect and manage feedback, testimonials, insights, and VOE (voice of the expert) Report out on ongoing expert insights and implications Partner with support teams to provide insights and drive action
Space and Event coordination and management
Coordinating calendar management with teams utilizing the space Configuring and confirming all technology specifications for full space, each room, and each expert are operational prior to and during the experts visit Managing full space to ‘event ready’ standards, including:
Temperature Furniture Space and technology configuration Access
Relationship management with on‑site support teams including:
Security Executive Assistant Team Event Planning Facilities Catering/Food Services Janitorial (ABM)
Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience, preferably in event planning, marketing or management, or customer data and insights Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Proficient with Google and/or Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Docs, Spreadsheets) Skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Event coordination, planning and management skills and experience Organized and manages to deadlines well Proven problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities Motivated self‑starter with an attention to detail Flexible and able to navigate new and/or changing conditions Ability to communicate objectives, plans, status and results clearly Experience with customer research, including 1:1s, feedback sessions, etc. a plus Strong marketing management skills with a proven track record in event or marketing management Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient in feedback/insights/VOE collection best practices Location
Must be located in Mountain View and able to work onsite Compensation
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs. Pay offered is based on factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is: Northern California (Bay Area): $100,000 – $135,500
