Lids Sports Group is the largest licensed sports retailer in North America, selling fan and fashion‑oriented headwear and apparel across the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Australia. Operating out of Indianapolis, IN, our retail stores offer officially licensed headwear and apparel from collegiate and professional sports teams, plus top brands like Nike, New Era, Adidas, and Mitchell & Ness. General Position Summary
Produce sales gains by providing customer service. Meet or exceed Company Objectives in all individual statistics. Provide a consistent, documented appraisal of associate’s sales performance and give feedback. Adhere to current visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage and store cleanliness. Maintain a professional appearance consistent with Dress Code Policy. Responsibilities
Protect Company assets per LIDS Retail policies. Assist in preparing store schedules and ensuring wage control. Follow all inventory management policies including receiving, transferring, pricing, and product counts. Document and record store activities per policies and laws. Open and close the store per Operations P&P Manual. Support all LIDS policies, procedures, and guidelines. Participate in training programs and follow sales goals. Recruit, train, and supervise store personnel. Encourage compliance with company policies, including safekeeping of inventory. Perform work of subordinates as needed and communicate with employees at all levels. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relevant experience. Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss. Strong interpersonal skills and clear professional communication. Ability to operate a computer and related software. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb a ladder and work overhead. Standing required up to 100% of the work time. Ability to work unsupervised. Preferred Qualifications
Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Assistant Store Managers PT are also available for monthly store sales bonuses and a 40% employee discount. Reports To
