We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with JD Edwards ERP expertise to join our enterprise client’s growing team. This is a high-impact role responsible for optimizing our client’s JDE environment, driving process improvements, and ensuring their systems empower the business to operate at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities Functional Expertise & Business Partnership
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne modules, with emphasis in Finance / Distribution / Homebuilding.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.
Translate business needs into clear system requirements, functional specifications, and configuration designs.
Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and drive consistent execution.
System Enhancements & Project Leadership
Lead or support JDE EnterpriseOne upgrades, enhancements, new module rollouts, and enterprise-level initiatives.
Design, configure, and optimize system functionality to support evolving business needs.
Create test plans, execute system and integration testing, and guide end users through User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with developers, DBAs, architects, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless delivery of technical solutions.
Provide high-quality documentation, end-user training, and ongoing post-implementation support.
Act as a trusted liaison between IT and operational business units, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
Governance, Compliance & Best Practices
Ensure solutions align with company policies, SOX controls, and compliance requirements.
Champion best practices within JDE, advocating for scalable, sustainable system design.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of hands‑on experience as a JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Business Analyst.
Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, drive process improvements, and deliver enterprise-wide systems solutions.
Excellent analytical, critical‑thinking, and communication skills.
Proven success working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience integrating JDE E1 with third‑party tools (e.g., EDI, tax engines, reporting tools).
Knowledge of SDLC processes, Agile methodologies, and structured change management.
Hands‑on experience with JDE upgrades, migrations, or implementation projects.
Familiarity with Orchestrator, UX One, Café One, and other modern JDE toolsets.
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent initiatives.
