Data Scientist (Clearance Sponsorship)
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our dynamic Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics, machine learning, and data mining, with the ability to visualize and communicate complex data clearly and compellingly.
Responsibilities
Work with cross‑functional teams to identify, research, and solve complex analytical problems
Analyze large data sets to extract meaningful insights
Design, build, and maintain machine learning models and algorithms
Collaborate with data engineers to improve data collection and storage
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner
Support the organization’s broad‑spectrum Data Management requirements, including Data Strategy, Data Modeling, Documentation, Data Feed Identification, Infrastructure Management, Data Ingestion/Automation, Data Transformation, Data Catalog, Metadata Management, Data Quality Management, and Data Governance
Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports to support business objectives
Integrate Tableau with various data sources, including SQL databases, cloud platforms, and spreadsheets
Stay updated on the latest Tableau features, best practices, and emerging BI trends
Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
3+ years experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or similar role
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science)
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI, including data connection, manipulation, and visualization
Knowledge of statistical analysis methodologies
Excellent problem‑solving, communication, collaboration, and attention to detail
Experience with scripting in Tableau (automation, troubleshooting, integration, performance optimization)
Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and other relevant programming languages
Experience with data warehousing concepts and relational databases
Experience with machine learning, predictive modeling, and data mining
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
Tableau Certified Professional – Preferred
Current Security+ or DOD 8570 IAT Level II Certification
Knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Understanding of data governance and security best practices
