Jordan The ideal candidate must be able to work with large datasets with strong experience using a variety of data mining / data analysis methods, familiar with some technology providers and solutions in the market, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing data models, creating/using algorithms and machine‑learning models, and running simulations. They must have a proven ability to drive business results with data‑based insights and possess data storytelling capabilities. They should be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams, and have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets to improve business outcomes.
Core Requirements
2‑4 years of experience in data analytics and machine learning
Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.)
Knowledge of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real‑world advantages / drawbacks
Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, distribution properties, statistical tests, proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications
Experience with statistical and data‑mining techniques: GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, social network analysis, etc.
Experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages: R, Python, SQL, etc.
Knowledge and experience in descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics
Experience creating and using advanced machine‑learning algorithms and statistics: regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.
Experience visualizing data using Python, R, or BI tools
Any relevant certificate in the same field is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
Fluent in English & Arabic
Certification (as a plus)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate
SAS Certified AI & Machine Learning Professional
Tensorflow Developer Certificate
IBM Data Science Professional Certificate
Dell EMC Data Science Track (EMCDS)
Alteryx / Dataiku certifications
Tools & Solutions Familiarity
Microsoft SSIS, SSAS, SSRS (illustrates familiarity with data pipelines and ETL)
Alteryx, Dataiku, SAS, IBM Watson or similar (important pre‑requisite)
Power BI, Tableau, Qlik (data visualization knowledge)
Informatica ETL, Axon, EDC etc. (or similar solutions like Collibra) – familiarity with data management platforms
