Job Description Summary This role establishes a cohesive product vision and strategy across the company, leading product strategy and product operations development with cross‑functional teams.
It balances innovative design with technical implementation while meeting regulatory requirements and customer needs.
The focus is on enhancing customer experience, using metrics for product success, and standardizing analytics and market research for data‑driven decisions.
Essential Responsibilities
Establish a shared vision across the company for one or more products or a platform product that enables scalable development.
Lead product strategy development and create a clear, executable view of the product strategy with cross‑functional stakeholders.
Influence the architectural roadmap, balancing innovative design, technical implementation, regulatory requirements, time‑to‑market, customer needs, and product profitability.
Champion the customer experience and prioritize customer needs in product requirements and decision making.
Define and use metrics that inform the success of products, including usability studies, research, and market analysis.
Standardize workstreams to include analytics, customer discovery, market research, and competitive analysis for data‑driven decision‑making.
Be responsible for product profitability, including budgetary decisions.
Lead operational mechanisms that drive execution and accountability—Product Reviews, Operating Reviews, and Business Reviews—and interface with senior leadership as needed.
Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the standard.
Expected Qualifications
10+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
2 years of experience leading others.
Compensation PayPal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
Compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus (or other incentive compensation), equity, and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $188,000 to $323,950.
