I’m currently partnering with a CRDMO seeking an accomplished Senior Director of Business Development for the West Coast.
Job Responsibilities
As the Sr. Director of Business Development you will proactively source, pursue, and close new business across the biologic's portfolio.
Build and manage a strong qualified pipeline through frequent outreach, networking, and targeted prospecting.
Leverage industry connections to introduce the company to new decision‑makers across biotech and pharma.
You will partner with technical and operational teams to scope opportunities and ensure smooth handoffs from commercial to delivery.
Deliver presentations, proposals, and capability meetings that reflect customer needs and company strengths.
Represent the organization at conferences, partner‑ing events, and industry forums to expand visibility and market reach.
Track market trends and competitor activity to support commercial positioning and tactical decision‑making.
Job Requirements
You should have a background in biologics with a strong industry network across emerging biotech & large pharma.
Proven success as a hunter consistently driving new client acquisition and closing high‑value programs.
Experience selling into both small biotech and large pharma environments.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced global CDMO environment with a high degree of autonomy.
