AI & Machine Learning Engineering Consultant - Manager - Consulting
Join EY as an AI & Machine Learning Engineering Consultant – Manager to partner with clients across a range of industries. You will deliver scalable AI solutions, drive innovation, and influence client strategy in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead delivery of end‑to‑end AI projects, from scoping and architecture design to production deployment.
Build and maintain robust data pipelines and model pipelines, ensuring data quality, governance and XOps best practices.
Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers and client subject‑matter experts to translate complex business problems into AI solutions.
Mentor and manage a high‑performing technical team, providing coaching, performance feedback and career development.
Identify and propose additional service opportunities, managing engagement economics and client relationships.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
6‑10 years of experience in AI, Data Science or Machine Learning, with 2‑4 years of technical team management.
Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, scikit‑learn, and experience building production‑grade ML models on cloud platforms.
Strong knowledge of MLOps practices, CI/CD, model monitoring, and model retraining pipelines.
Experience with Generative AI frameworks (OpenAI, Langchain, Retrieval Augmented Generation) and natural language processing.
Excellent communication, client engagement and leadership skills.
Technical Skills
Advanced Python, SQL, Spark, Pandas and deep learning libraries.
Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, GCP) and dev‑ops tools (Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD).
Data engineering, data pipeline design and data quality best practices.
Model monitoring, observability, and MLOps workflow orchestration.
