Requirements Must have:

A minimum of 3 years of experience managing engineering teams.

At least 7 years of direct experience working within engineering teams.

3 years of experience in designing or architecting systems (design patterns, reliability, scaling) for both new and existing applications.

8 years of experience leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.

Familiarity with engineering practices and patterns throughout the full software/hardware/networks development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and live-site operations.

Experience collaborating with product or program management teams.

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of software engineers to achieve delivery and operational excellence for an AWS service.

Recruit, mentor, and promote engineers within the team.

Collaborate with various teams across AWS to develop innovative solutions.

Establish mechanisms to uphold the highest standards within the team.

Work alongside product managers, principal engineers, and senior leadership to outline the technical roadmap and strategy for FSx.
