Located in the Fashion District, guests enjoy easy access to some of LA's most dynamic neighborhoods and attractions. Founded in 2008 by Serge Trigano and his sons Jérémie and Benjamin (co‑founders of Club Med), Mama Shelter is a creator of living spaces and a daily director. Job Description Would you like to be part of the opening of our Mama Shelter in Downtown Los Angeles?
The Mission
You’re the person our Mama trusts to develop the property’s sales, through a proactive approach that aligns with the Mama standards.
Working closely with management, you’ll develop our sales strategy and pricing policy to create customer demand: overnight stays, sales meetings, company seminars, workshops with cocktail receptions, meals… All roads lead to the Mama.
You’ll monitor performance and adjust tactics along the way to make sure we’re hitting our targets and staying ahead of the game.
A true team leader, you are responsible for and lead the Sales team, making sure our customers' satisfaction is at a high level. From recruitment and onboarding to coaching and development, you’ll build a proactive, high‑performing environment where everyone can shine.
As a Mama brand ambassador, you’ll convey our values through your energy and good humor.
You’ll work closely with our Ennismore regional contacts and brand leads for Sales, Revenue, and Brand—as well as the Accor Global Sales team—to align strategies and maximize opportunities.
Mama is counting on you to establish and maintain relationships with all the local, regional, national and international players: agencies, production companies, congresses, institutions… They love you!
Qualifications
You’re passionate about sales without being the Wolf of Wall Street.
You bring 5+ years’ experience in a senior hotel sales role, preferably within a lifestyle hotel brand.
You know the Los Angeles market and its key feeder markets like the back of your hand.
Every detail is important to you, and nothing is overlooked thanks to your sense of organization and anticipation.
With a keen sense of communication, you’re professional, diplomatic and know how to bring all departments together. You can handle difficult situations.
Curious by nature, you’re constantly on the lookout for new things and you’re great at leveraging these new things to generate revenue.
Blessed with excellent interpersonal skills, you’re never short of resources when faced with a customer situation.
You inspire with high energy, genuine motivation, and a leadership style that brings out everyone’s best.
Action‑oriented, you get your hands dirty and believe that participative management is the key to success.
You know how to handle pressure and stress.
You are highly responsible, reliable and ethical. A reputation for honesty and integrity.

The annual base salary for this role is starting at $150,000.
