About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished leader to drive their sales operations, leveraging a blend of strategic thinking, industry insight, and proven sales expertise. This role involves overseeing a complex sales structure that includes both a distribution network and a direct-to-customer commissioned sales team.
Compensation Base pay range: $190,000.00/yr - $230,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
Leadership Experience:
Proven success as a senior executive leading sales teams, ideally in the OE, commercial aftermarket, or manufacturing sectors.
Industry Insight:
Comprehensive knowledge of the commercial OEM market, including manufacturers, upfitters, and fleet management.
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
Performance Metrics:
Define, monitor, and enhance key sales performance indicators.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical skills to address and overcome sales challenges.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain robust relationships with customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
Negotiation Skills:
Advanced negotiation skills, with the ability to mentor team members in closing large-scale contracts.
Financial Acumen:
Expertise in sales forecasting, budgeting, and P&L management.
Team Development:
Recruit, train, and mentor high-performing sales teams.
Data-Driven Decisions:
Utilize CRM systems and sales analytics to inform decisions and set goals.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for leadership and client engagement.
Change Management:
Lead sales transformation initiatives and adapt to market changes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work effectively with marketing, product development, supply chain, operations, and finance teams.
Technology Competency:
Familiarity with digital sales tools and emerging industry technologies.
Adaptability:
